Faith,
As I recall, you are NOT using distilled water and have no
instrumentation to verify the purity of the water you are using.
This makes it difficult to come up with any accurate estimates, BUT
my experience with using tap water in an 8 oz glass would peak at the
3 minute mark. (yes, three minutes)
Using distilled water, the max time for 8 oz would max at the 45
minute mark (anywhere in the 30 to 45 minutes being satisfactory).
You are really on your own, and should spend some time at careful
observation of product color and tyndall effect to determine the
parameters of your setup.
