He happened to turn up at my house today so had the chance to actually apply some CS/EIS...2x sofar to day... he said it stung a little for split second but apparently he didn't feel real discomfort.. perhaps my imagination but it looks better already after about 6 hours.. Keep fingers crossed it's going to work for him.

I have used the EIS for an eye sty before and it cleared it up really fast. I think I did hold it on there with a wash cloth for a few minutes. I have also used it on my cat when she had eye problems and it cleared it up for her too.
