Well, one thing that would be nice is to be able to simply reject a
message based on the subject. This would go a long way towards
fighting spam and viruses without requiring any complicated logic or
scanning in the mail host. I mean if you could automatically delete
every email with the subject "I LOVE YOU" or "ANNA KORNAKOVA" (or
however it's spelled), you could save yourself a lot of hassle the
day those viruses are released. And how many spammers use original
subjects in their emails? I get spam with the same subject repeatedly
for weeks.
Of course, I realize that someone could send a legitimate email with
the same subject, but the benefits outweigh the down sides in my
opinion.
