Not to mention that if an ISP makes claims to its users that it is scanning
and blocking viruses on its mail servers and one 'slips through,' it seems to
me that affected users could reasonably argue that the ISP has some
responsibility for damage caused to their systems ('You said you were
protecting me, but I got burned anyway...'). It could open a can of worms that
I'd think most ISPs would want to keep closed. IMHO, an ISP's efforts are
better spent educating its users on how to protect their own systems.
