Perl 5.0something is built in to WebTen 2.x and newer (don't remember the actual
version number, but I think it's 5.003 if I am not mistaken).

Have you tried to access your SIMS via my QDPop on
<http://www.rumantsch.ch/qdpop/qdpop.htm>?

Error #2 is most probably due to that your Pop3Client.pm module has either wrong line
breaks in the file for running on your system, or you transferred it using the wrong
ftp method (binary vs. text).

In the QDPop files, there is one person mentioned at a Californian University (think
he is a medical doctor) who was involved in the development. QDPop has probably been
removed from the university's site (at least they announced this removal last year),
but he may still be there and able/willing to help. At least we corresponded about
QDPop some time last year, and he helped testing my installation.

I also tried AtDot before I found QDPop, but never could make it work on my server.

Some time ago, they had a beta of a new version available, where you could change the
interface language and translate the whole thing using a text file containing the
English and the foreign expressions. But I never saw it finished...

Best wishes, Christian.
