>Have you tried to access your SIMS via my QDPop on
><http://www.rumantsch.ch/qdpop/qdpop.htm>?
Yeah, I have tried this link a number of times, and every time, it says
that it either didn't connect with my mail server, or my
username/password is wrong. I know the u/p is correct (it is just
test/test), and SIMS logs don't indicate an attempt was made to connect
at all.
Oddly, when I use that link to try to connect to one of my mac.com
addresses, it seems to work fine. So it might be a timeout issue in
reaching my SIMS server (although, I have never had a problem with that
with anything else reaching my server)

This might make a little sense. I was trying a "commercial" web front end
last night (mailman... I found a link in the QPQ archives). I was unable
to get it to work, but it at least complained that there was an illegal
character (a return) in the pl file. It might be that the perl scripts
can't figure out how to handle the carriage return that is in the file.
Unfortuantly, MacPerl REQUIRES that the text be formatted for Mac (ie:
have carriage returns, not line feeds, or CR-LF combos). I am going to
contact the company that makes MailMan and see if they can help (they
offer a free license for non-profit, and ultimatly, that is where I want
to use it, on my Fire Department's web site, to give access to email for
all the members that don't have easy access to a POP client)
Thanks for the help.
