>Please help! SIMS (we are using v1.8b8) is crashing about once every hour

I would install MacsBug 6.6.3; the next time you crash, instead of
that empty white rectangle, you'll get a debugger screen. Type in
"stdlog" (no quotes) and reboot. Send the resulting text file (called
"stdlog") to Stalker support. if it's a bug in SIMS, the report will
help; if no bug (seems likely given your history), Stalker may still
get a clue by knowing where it crashed and may have a recommend.
Furthermore, if you can successfully type "es" in the debugger screen
(after stdlog), you might be able to break out of SIMS and restart it
without a reboot.
