Maybe the user ABC doesn't check his mailbox daily, but once a month only? The mail server should _ignore_ the RR-request and just forward everything. In this case, the mail application of the user ABC (Eudora, OE, or whatever) should take care of this issue. When I get a message where a RR is qequested by the sender, I get a notification from Eudora whether I want to send it or not; in most cases I decide not to send anything. But in fact, I really don't care whether SIMS produces a message or not...
