Keep in mind that there is a huge range of blacklists out there, sadly. MAPS got rigorous about their listing policies a couple years back, but the fact that they were so widely accepted at one point made their listings a little too painful for people with lawyers and a Hubbardian view of litigation (it's not about winning or losing, but about the ruin of a lengthy and expensive lawsuit...) so they have pretty much retreated to being the blacklist for the people who want to pay for it. The SBL is run quite responsibly and sticks pretty much to the hardcore spammers and very rarely their providers. Spamcop might develop into a useful BL someday, but it's way too rough and unrefined today. The Visi relay list (no URL handy... ) is a good alternative to ORBZ/ORDB for people with ethical concerns about the aggressive testers. -- Bill Cole [EMAIL PROTECTED] ############################################################# This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
