Becuase your ex-client's IP address resolves to your server and is
therefore a client!

Then do this:
1) Create a real account called "closed" or "deadbeat" or "terminated".
2) Make sure that the "Acount Enabled" checkbox is turned off.
3) Create a router entry:
*@domain.from.hell = closed (or other name)
Now mail addressed to the domain will bounce with this message:
Failed to deliver your message to closed:
POP: User mailbox is disabled
Final-Recipient: rfc822; closed
