Hello,
I have question regarding SDP information in SIP messages: 1. Is it common in sip implementations to set SDP connection parameter (c=) with fully qualified domain name (FQDN) instead of IP4 address? 2. Does a proxy server opens the SDP section of the message or does it just passes it on in the messages to the next proxy/sip terminal? Will it forward the SDP with a resolved connection address? 3. If a destination sip terminal gets message with SDP connection address which is FQDN how does it resolves this address? Is it common that a SIP terminal refers to the DNS by itself? or maybe it asks it's proxy to resolve the address? How is it done? thanks for your help Aliza Nagauker Software Engineer EcTel Tel : +972-3-926-3313 e-mail : [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
