Hello,

I have question regarding SDP information in SIP messages:

1. Is it common in sip implementations to set SDP connection parameter (c=)
with fully
qualified domain name (FQDN) instead of IP4 address?
2. Does a proxy server opens the SDP section of the message or does it just
passes it on in the messages to the next proxy/sip terminal? Will it forward
the SDP with a resolved connection address?
3. If a destination sip terminal gets message with SDP connection address
which is FQDN how does it resolves this address? Is it common that a SIP
terminal refers to the DNS by itself? or maybe it asks it's proxy to resolve
the address? How is it done?
thanks for your help
