I have been reviewing the SIP INFO method. It provides a generic way to send additional information to the peer. This information is of little use unless the far end is expecting it and can interpret it. So, is anyone using this method and, if so, for what information? A bit of research shows that there is an draft describing how to send ISUP messages using the INFO method. More research shows that I cant even find the SIP INFO draft. Has this expired or am I just blind? Any status of the INFO method and how it's used would be appreciated. Thanks, Jack W.
