You have my vote, Dale. This leaves me to wonder why SUBSCRIBE, the only dialog creating request after INVITE leaves such a horrendous hole in interpretation. I have a registrar/proxy implementation that receives a gazillion NOTIFYs a minute with only 10 calls active and I don't have the right to complain.
