Hi, it could be nice if web pages use an estandarized way to indicate telephone numbers and a link for use it.
For this case, IMHO "tel" URI is perfect. An user visiting a web could click into a link like: tel:+12345678 so him sofphone would generate a request: INVITE tel:+12345678 SIP/2.0 Of course, for this to work the softphone needs to have set an outbound proxy, if not the softphone can't send the request. Is this feature used in this way? Ufortunatelly I don't see "tel:" links in web pages.
