Wow! It really hurts when I strike my back with these knotted cords. But when I do it long enough, I get these nifty visions of a perfect architecture . . .

Maybe I should stop? Maybe I should invite my friends to do it too?

In other words, pain is the only educational tool we have. When it hurts, they'll either stop doing it, or make a religious cult out of the experience and encourage other people to play along.

Either way, the physics are the same.
