Ah, very nice. It didn't occur to me that the IM ID was read-only just by looking at it but it really is read-only. XMPP Domain name == SIP Domain in all cases Resource is a user-defined string that helps the openfire server disambiguate between all the clients that can simultaneously be registered against the account. For example, I use 'work' for my work desktop PC, 'lab' for my lab PC and 'home' for my home PC and all three can be logged in at the same time.
