Ah, now I remember this.

The problem is tracked under http://track.sipfoundry.org/browse/XX-6034
: CDR doesn't work in certain designer environments, including EDE

I just edited the JIRA title so that it describes the actual problem.
It would be nice to have this fix.  In sipxcallresolver.sh.in I think?
