There is still one outstanding issue with this configuration: All of the functionality for voice mail works from the phone after changing <config-server-url-secure> on the voice mail server to point to the config server.
>From the GUI, however, the MWI light takes an hour to extinguish after removing voice mails in the GUI. It works as expected when deleting from the phone. Probably is not getting updated until the phone registers again. The customer is rather adamant about having the VM server on a separate host -- is there a way to get this configuration to work? To review the configuration: VM is deployed on a separate server from the config server. The mailstore directory on the VM server is mounted via nfs on the config server.
