my local exchange just got moved out of the "804" NPA not too long
ago. I agree, if it is that long, it should be an exact match for a
mailbox OR 8 plus a specified number of digits that won't get confused
with a real world dial plan (npa-nxx). Typically 8 plus up to 5 digits
is not confusing to the system and takes little in the way to match
it.

Do people feel this actually needs improvement?
