I have a customer that wants to investigate having a TRUE Interactive Voice
Response system created to work with their sipXecs system. My thought is
that the Freeswitch media server in sipXecs could be leveraged for this
application, and use of the api's could be used to interact with their SQL
database.

Who amongst the developer group could provide some feedback as to the
feasibility of this development work - is it plausible, 1 hour or 1,000
hours of development? I believe Freeswitch is known for being strong in
this area, I would like to exploit using it within the sipXecs structure,
and if that is not practical, maybe have a separate configuration screen,
and just the ability to pass calls from sipXecs to the separate Voice
Response application. In that case, we could build a module just to pass
calls, or something simple.

Any thoughts on the practicality of this within the current system, and idea
of what it would take. It might be something we would develop as a module
for sipXecs if it is practical and reasonable.

Has anyone started a project such as this that we could participate in the
development/funding of?
