Note that with sipx 3.10.2 (haven't tested since upgrading to 3.10.3) the BLF doesn't work if multiple phones are registered to one extension number. I didn't track it down further, but BLF worked when one was registered, then stopped updating once a second phone registered. Using Polycom IP501 phones.
