I'd go with an ATA and the Valcom. Valcom is also great as a company at helping you build a proper paging solution so you don't blast people out. I've done this with the Patton SmartNodes. Go to 3.1.0 or 3.1.1 with 4.1.2 bootrom. I upgraded to 3.1.2 with 4.1.2 bootrom on a small test population yesterday. So far they seem to be functioning as expected with a limited amoutn of testing. Any reason you suggested 3.1.0 or 3.1.1 over 3.1.2? Page that many phones at once? Wow... Brave! Ha! Unfortunately, it's a medical facility and "page all" is required. It also happens to be a hot button at the moment. For what its worth, 50 phones was working great. The fall back will be to go to the traditional 70 volt paging speakers. I purchased a cyberdata paging device to interface with the old system, but the delay before page is very annoying. Can anyone recommend a a better solution? I'm considering trying an ATA paired valcom telphone paging adaptor. I'll keep you posted. I'm open to any suggestions. -Jim
