This is a good example of login/logout and status on an xhtml page, which could
be useful for phones with an xml browser. If you are going to create a status
page for it, a second version in strict xhtml would be useable by the phones
directly (it can then be placed on the idle screen by the admin if desired or a
link from the home page).

Would Web based status indication be of value? It seems to me that this
would be easier to do and more versatile than trying to get phones to
display things in a uniform way across different manufacturers.

Subject: [sipx-users] Queue Status on Phones

Is there a way to have a queue status notification anywhere on a
hardphone? So one of the indicator lights on say one of the
programmable buttons lights up when a call is in an ACD Queue?

Also on the same topic, is there a way to indicate on an agents phone
that they are logged off or logged in to the ACD?

My concern being if they forget to logout when they step away and are
bounced after not answering a queue call, when they return to their
desks they can visually see if they are logged in or out of the queue.

The phones I am planning on using are the Grandstream 2000's. If it is
not possible to do the above with this phone, is it with another?
Thanks for all your help.
