We would prefer to use the phones, but if it isn't an option then I understand.
I know on these grandstreams 2000's they have some programmability via xml, would that be the way to accomplish what I am looking for? The we based indication seems to only show whether the agent is signed in our out and not the queue status (except when you login as superadmin). It seems to me that this would be easier to do and more versatile than trying to get phones to display things in a uniform way across different manufacturers. --martin ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Daniel Orcutt Sent: Thursday, April 30, 2009 4:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [sipx-users] Queue Status on Phones Is there a way to have a queue status notification anywhere on a hardphone? So one of the indicator lights on say one of the programmable buttons lights up when a call is in an ACD Queue? Also on the same topic, is there a way to indicate on an agents phone that they are logged off or logged in to the ACD? My concern being if they forget to logout when they step away and are bounced after not answering a queue call, when they return to their desks they can visually see if they are logged in or out of the queue. The phones I am planning on using are the Grandstream 2000's. If it is not possible to do the above with this phone, is it with another? Thanks for all your help.
