option 120 is not necessary.

Since this was working previously, it might be helpfult o determine what 
Bootrom and Firmware the phones currently have.

Optimally, bootrom 4.1.2 and firmware 3.1.2 (split version). If that was on the 
phone previously there should be no need to upload it again. if you uploaded 
the wrong 3.1.2 version after installing 4.0 it could simply be a firmware 
mismatch.

I just did a new install to 4.0, the polycom 650/670's have bootrom 4.1.2 and 
firmware 3.1.2 on them and did not upload any soundpoint files to the new 
server, never had a problem with the phones booting.

What version bootrom/firmware do the phones have?
