It's only needed for Bria soft-phones. And even then: only if you want to
save people from having to enter provisioning URL.

Is this limited to Polycom phones?
I know that there were quite a few changes in Polycom provisioning compared
to 3.10 - Paul and Huijun can probably provide more details. It would help
if you tell what version of firmware you were using with 3.10 and what
version you have on now.

If you see it with any other phone model please send firmware info as well.
