sipx great.  didn't load diag tools yet, but have tcpdump on sipx server, and 
tshark on our RMON server.

register line 1 and line 2 as internal lines (same lines.. yes).  Registered 
line 3 'Add external line', put in what is minimally required information (sip 
user, password, proxy, port)

send profile to phone, wait for it to reboot.  line 1 works, line 2 works, line 
3 doesn't, has 'x' on status box.

tcpdump on sipx server shows the registrations for line 1 and line 2 (same 
line), but it never even TRIES to register line 3.

I could understand if I have something programmed wrong on the sipx server, or 
if I have a firewall problem, or the voip server at the remote end has a 
problem, but I never see any error messages, tcpdump doesn't even show it 
trying.
