thanks, I'll give that a try. I worked on some of this earlier because
of the multiple FX trunks we have, and the different people responsible.
so I didn't need to do a inbound dial plan with the phone #? I could
have left the dial plan out and just set up an alias?
some of this part isn't all that documented in general. (and skype sip
documentation doesn't mention you HAVE to use the account number as your
outbound caller id or they will register the trunk, but won't let you
make outbound calls)
as to other question, we are trying to run both systems in parallel, as
we switch over, and want the users to still have their old extensions
rin on new phones.
