Are you running their latest firmware? They've has a release since July. http://gigaset.com/shc/0,1935,hq_en_0_145510_rArNrNrNrN_variation%253A-5_pageType%253Adownloads_imagePos%253A0,00.html#content
The manual for these shows a central provisioning server through an "approved list" of providers that they store. It does not seem to have a local provisioning process. Their manual says: http://download.gigaset.com/repository/1461/146151/A31008-M1916-R601-2-TE19_en_International.pdf Page 138-- Says STUN needs outbound traffic to be allowed, symmetric nat to be in place. If the phone is "remote", this could cause a problem as the firewall where it is needs to be able to do "symmetic port nat", if I understand siemens statement. Also, if it is remote, did you match the phone RTP ports to sipxbridges (default 30000-31000)? Nice looking phone, but I don't know I would want that in an enterprise, sounds like too much trouble already. If you get it working, a wiki posting on it would be handy. I know others have asked about Siemens gigasets on here.
