Phones are on the same LAN as the SipXecs servers (4.2) {w/services on 4
boxes}. We have a primary server w/{proxy, registrar, and the other
services}, two SipXbridge/SBC servers running SIP Trunk service as well
as a separate sipX HA). DHCP and DNS is a separate server. No remote
phones, or VPN.

On the phones; Bootrom is 4.2.2. The job failures occur whether I have
SIP 3.2.3 or 3.1.3revC. Phone types range from Polycom 650 w/exp mod,
650, 550, 450s, and 335s. It is not a production environment and has
been happening for a while.

So when the Job attempting to do the restart fails, what log file does
that event occur in? I have been sifting through a number of them and
have not found it. Logging has Sip proxy, registrar, and provisioning
set to INFO. The rest are NOTICE. I'm wondering if I should set
Supervisor to INFO?

profiles

If these phones are remote or on a vpn that response may never come. if
they are using a firmware version that doesn;t play nice (polycom 3.2.x)
it is just an error message, if the phone is not registered, it will not
be ABLE to respond... provide more info please?

I have been getting consistent Job Failures on the Restart of phones
initiated from Sipconfig. If I force a manual restart it will reboot and
take on the changes I made.

The Provisioning job is completing OK. But if I elect for an automated
restart - that always fails.

In Job Status it says Failed - Timed Out waiting for response..

I was wondering which log files this event would be in. And certainly if
anyone has seen this and has a "check for x" suggestion, it would be
most appreciated.
