Michael, I tried and made sure that all my audio files are 8khz/16 bit/mono. As
a matter of fact, I converted all the files again from my original backup and
uploaded them. The problem is still there. Could you please advise what I
should
try next?

yes, but for some reason, one of the newer polycom firmware's has a problem
with
codex and makes G.722 sound funny, skip portions, and maybe sound fast.

Are you talking about Polycom (phone) firmware upgrade? I thought the audio is
played directly from the sipx server. Yes. I upgraded the firmware on the
phones

long time ago. This problem only started a few weeks ago.

Thanks and have a nice day,

No. It is not in a virtual environment.

We have auto attendants setup in our sipx setup. For the last few weeks, these
auto attendant messages are played very very fast. For example, our main
message

used to take 40 seconds to complete it, and it takes very less time to complete
it.

However, when I play the auto attendant messages manually in the sipx
administration page, the auto attendent messages are played correctly.

This is a non profit agency, and I would really appreciate your feed back in
resolving the issue.

Thanks and have a nice day,
-SrinivasaRao Seelam
