so... he said it is "inter site", it really does lend itself to assuming a lot...
I would assume he has multiple sipx systems and one cisco phone calls the "other" system via his "local" system. I would also assume it is a site-to-site call. I would assume his dial plan entry and sip/srv records are correct. I would also assume his firewall at both ends is set to allow the traffic or that he has a site-to site vpn. I am probably assuming a lot, so I won't comment until the poster has provided a better picture either.
