The setup is so:
SIPXecs is sending inter-site calls via a defined gateway ( a Cisco 2811) and dial-peers on the Cisco are sending the call (via SIP session) to Cisco CallManager at the second site. The Cisco phones are running 8.3.2SR1 sip firmware. The wan link is a leased circuit. If a Polycom phone at the SIPxecs site sends a call it works OK witou tthe call dropping but Cisco phones drop calls after 5 minutes. I'm running 4.2.1 on the SIPXecs. I hope this explains the issue. What version of sipXecs? How are the WAN locations connected (VPN?, Private Circuit?). Don't expect anyone to read your mind or know what you are talking about.
