Don't forget to turn on enhanced-feature-keys in the Features section of your

Yes. It is a new system with no users, so there is no risk. I sent all profiles
and let it reboot. I attached the template file I'm testing with and
screenshots from the settings in the GUI are below. I place a call to one of
these handsets, and none of the soft keys I would expect to show are there.

Did you send profiles to the phones (and have them reboot) - I'd only do this
for a single phone first.

That is what I did. I uploaded the config file, then assigned it in phone
groups, group, polycom 450, Custom Configuration. It doesn't seem to have any
affect at all.

you only add the config file and tones (if desired), then upload the

custom efk file and assign in 4.4.

I didn't replace the 3 files. I'm still confused. The guide below

I thought the way this was supposed to work was you could add your

own supplementary files for a given phone group.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here.

Are there some simple steps to using the EFK settings in 4.4? I'm

following bits and pieces of directions from different places.

This site assumes 4.2.1

This site seems to refer to editing the master conf file

ion This is the jira item, but I still don't see where to use it:

I'm not sure where to do what. I used the template file provided by

Jim to rule out I was doing something wrong with my config file. I

uploaded it as an unmanaged TFTP file and activated it. I tried

putting the file name in Phone groups, group, Custom Configuration.

That doesn't seem to do anything.

Can anyone give me some steps for using this in 4.4? Sorry I
