At least use A record name resolution on your servers....  This will of
course preclude you from ever going to a cluster.  Consult the wiki.  I'd
suggest walking before you try to run.  Build a server on it's own little
network, plug some phones (or use softphones) in and try to figure out how
things work.  Learn the difference between A records and SRV records.
 You're throwing yourself into a big mess with NAT and firewalls.

Also, before you go sticking this thing raw on the internet, know that there
is no firewall enabled on the system...
