Another thing you could try is to remove the shared line from that phone,
add another different test line *IN THE SAME POSITION AS THE SHARED LINE *to
that phone, with voicemail enabled, then leave a voicemail on the test line
and delete the voicemail on the test line, then after the light goes off put
the shared line back on it.

I really wish Polycom would implement a "clear MWI light" feature. This is a
"bug" that is seen on a lot of repurposed polycom phones where the phone was
reprovisioned with the MWI light on.
