Try looking at HylaFAX for a sending option and use Sipx for the receive.
That's the exact solution I'm trying to build.

The only problem in the open source version of HylaFAX is building that damn
T38 modem. I still haven't figured that one out and just don't have the time.
Building open source HylaFAX itself isn't that hard.

Now, if you are willing to spend a little $$ and save yourself a lot of
headache and time, iFax Soulutions (the equivalent to HylaFAX of ezuce to Sipx)
has a pre-built HylaFAX VM that has a Brooktrout T38 modem, web Gui, 50 HylaFAX
FSP client licenses and a bunch of other features for @$1600. They offer a
free trial -- which I signed up for but didn't get the chance to try because
I'm too busy right now -- http://www.ifax.com/products/hylafax/hylafax.html.
If someone is willing to try it out and report back, I be real interested to
hear about your experience.

Oh darn, misunderstood then. Thought Steve was saying this is here or coming?
The avantfax server does the trick it's just that not having to maintain
separate accounts would be so great.

Would it be possible to take some open source fax sending package, and tie it
into sipx as a separate box? Almost like running sipx in HA mode, but that one
of those separate servers would only be for outgoing faxing.

It would be so nice to have it all built into one environment.

I'll take a look at the lead you sent, thanks.
