Example being used by a customer today - sipXecs ------> Ethernet ------> Audiocodes M1000 ------> PRI -------> Nortel CS1k
Works great. I believe I've seen others describe sipXecs -------> Ethernet --------> Patton 4960 --------> PRI --------> NEC PBX. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Sunday, November 20, 2011 8:28 AM To: sipx-users Subject: Re: [sipx-users] SIP Hunt Group > You can use an audiocodes gateway or a Patton Gateway for that > functionality. > > SIP to the Audiocodes/Patton then PRI to the Legacy PBX. Good to hear that indeed there are devices that will take a SIP trunk then provide a PBS it's lines via PRI. I recall asking once if my 2K's could handle SIP trunks, I seem to recall being told no. I'll look into the patton as well though I am more familiar with the audiocodes now. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/ _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
