| Then when asked for SIP domain, do I have to enter mycompany.com OR is
entering sipx.mycompany.com expectable?

If you want A-Record resolution and you will never add another server, you
can use sipx.mycompany.com. If you want to add another server at a later
time or use XMPP to mycompany.com in the future, I would use
mycompany.com(which should be the default response).
