Rémi Marand,

In your pcap SipX is not getting to the point where it will accept and process
the Invite from circpack. SipX responds with a 407 and circpack ACKs but can't
send SipX what it wants to get by the 407. This problem is similar to a Site A
to Site B call with a far end drop off at Site B via dialplan.

If 0183820223 is matched to a "dialed number" in a dial plan which routes the
call to the IVR gateway - you might look at that dial plan's permissions. The
Invite coming from circpack does not carry permission rights. If the dial plan
that acts on the incoming User-ID has a permission activated, SipX will respond
with a 407 and circpack Invites will not be able to get past this.

Set the dial plan that matches 0183820223 to have *no* permissions checked,
that should get you past the 407 auth problem.

Of course operating a dial plan without any permissions set means you need to
analyze [specific to your environment] if you opened a security vulnerability.
With no permissions on the dial plan SipX will process any Invites it receives
without regard to where it came from. Though if SipX is on a trusted LAN and
the dial plan in question matches a limited group of numbers and only sends to
an IVR - Security is not likely a problem.

Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Routing calls between 2 gateways or sip trunk.

The Cirpack is a trunk SIP for the SIPX, there is no
authentication neither in the Cirpack nor in the SIPX.
About the possibility to use a Unmanaged Gateway instead i
would be glad to talk about that in another discussion.

On the Cirpack - SipX port, i use the 5080 port to SipX
(local SBC) and 5070 to the Cirpack, this peer is OK to
handle incoming and outgoing calls between registered users
and outside.

The Outgoing call to the Cirpack (long distance numplan)
does not need authentication, this outgoing call from
registered users are OK.

I Use the DID number 01838290223 in a dial plan, to try to
route the call to the IVR, now this DialPlan is a Site to
Site plan, with the svi.prosodie destination and the
pros8o.svi.prosodie gateway, but i tried the same thing with
a custom plan with the same result (407 to the Cirpack).

Thanks for help.

Rémi Marand.
