As far as I know this problem doesn't occur with the code in trunk.  But
I can double check...

Well it is a workaround, and I only did it because I needed 3.6.3
working at the time and there wasn't any other (obvious) solution.  If
this is still an issue in trunk, then we definitely need to fix it.

This is just a hunch, it hasn't been verified/validated yet ;-)

So I guess you upgraded your client's SystemImager to 3.7.3, re-ran
si_prepareclient, copied the kernel/initrd.img to your imageserver and
it still doesn't work?  Which SystemImager packages did you upgrade?
You need to upgrade at least systemimager-client, systemimager-common
and systemimager-x86_64initrd_template.

What version of SystemImager are you running on the imageserver?

I'll test this out and get back to you.
