Hi Andrea,
I tried installing a client using the UYOK and now I could install
without any problems. For some reason I thought that would be much more
complicated and so I used the standard kernel at first. I guess there
was some module missing after all.

ok... and what happens if you press ctrl+c? are you able to get a
shell?
are you able to check if the disk is doing something (I mean leds are
blinking or similar?). If you can get a shell are you able to see the
state of the running processes?
