I don't know FolderShare at all, but I can very well imagine this. If  
it only checks modifications to the data fork (as many sync systems  
do), than it won't notice.

It changes the modification date. There's no other reasonable flag  
that could be changed.

Does FolderSync actually copy the EAs? Because if it does, than it  
should also track changes to it. Otherwise it's a bug (in FolderSync).
