I'm a big fan of ChronoSync. I regularly use it to sync PDFs with Skim notes and it preserves the EAs. http://www.econtechnologies.com/site/Pages/ChronoSync/chrono_overview.html Skim does modify the file modification date when you save notes so FolderShare should be detecting the change. My guess is that FolderShare isn't aware of the EAs.
