Works for me.
My Skim settings for Sync are the following:
Custom
Command: /Applications/Aquamacs Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/bin/emacsclient
Argument: --no-wait +%line "%file"
I think I modified it at one point and switched away from the preset  
Aquamacs settings because I had some kind of problem.
Maybe (hopefully) this helps,
