I am a newbie to Cartes du Ciel. I have familiarized myself with much of the program, but I am lost as to a lot of it as well. Partly, I presume, because I am less than a rank amateur when it comes to astronomy.
My first question concerns Limit:Magnitude reached via Preferences/Labels/Options. Under Limit:Magnitude there are five boxes. They seem to control the amount of clutter that will show up on the screen. Could someone tell me what each of those boxes do, starting at the top box?
