Jim, Think of the magnitude limit on labels as an offset. If you have the limit in the nebula catalog for the displayed FOV set at 9 and the label offset "limit" set at 0 then it should label every thing down to mag 9. If you have the label limit set at 6 then it should only label everything down to mag 3. Hope this helps. Bob Rose
