I've connected my Orion Intelliscope to CDC using the 10/23/04
Intelliscope driver written by Gary Carpenter.

I can't figure if I'm supposed to do the star alignment with CDC or the
Intelliscope controller. I tried both, but CDC still says I haven't
aligned my scope. I've got it set up for 9216 ticks since the encoders
are 9216 steps. I've tried it with Device Status checked and
unchecked. My encoder configuration is Alt-Az, with encoder
initialization angle 90 degrees. I've checked the Form always visible
box. Port configuation is 9600 81N. Default settings on timeout,
interval timeout, red interval,

Maybe I should set it back to its default of 2000 steps? It will
sometimes display RA/Dec ticks, but other times it doesn't. Nothing
happens when I click the "Init 90" degree box. The status box shows me
communicating fine, but not initialised and 90 degree vertical
initialisation not done, even though I just clicked on it.

Does anyone have step-by=step instructions on how to get my
Intelliscope controller talking to CDC?
