This may be a fonts problem. Read the last entry of the page http://www.ap-i.net/skychart/en/documentation/faq
To install and run switch type: sudo apt-get install gtk-theme-switch switch Click the button on the right, check "Use font", click "Browse" button to select a font, click "Apply" Be sure you use the generated configuration file: export GTK_RC_FILES=~/.gtkrc If this not solve the problem please report it with screenshot at http://www.ap-i.net/mantis Patrick > Using Ubuntu 6.10 > > I cannot see any thing on the menu bar.
