Ok I downloaded Patricks Wiki page on the method. I recognise the need to run the U3CONV program then use CATGEN to re-format for CDC. I have V3.1.6 CDC, Win XPsp2 The DVD is in drive E: my bigger catalogues live on a separate hard drive drive G: I've opened a folder on G: called G:/cdcucac3/ to take the text files etc I now open the Command window and read the intro for U3CONV....
Syntax iconv [--cddir /cdrom] [--outdir /path/to/text files] When I try various options it just crashes saying "iconv is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or bath file" I've tried the following variations with no success: iconv [--cddir /E:] [--outdir /G:/cdcucac3/] iconv [u3cddir /E:] [u3outdir /G:/cdcucac3/] u3conv [--cddir /E:] [--outdir /G:/cdcucac3/] u3conv [u3cddir /E:] [u3outdir /G:/cdcucac3/] I'm obviously misunderstanding the syntax...can someone help me.
